It has become a hub for coffee lovers, the professional and the curious. Here we bring together community, hospitality, and great shared experiences around wholesome food and fantastic coffee.
The coffee shop has become the focal point of the roastery and our expanding program of interesting activities and events encompasses everything from public cuppings, intimate supper clubs and home brewing workshops, to barista challenges and SCA competitions.
Our roastery and coffee shop are reflections of each other, with each one contributing to make the whole something greater than the sum of its parts.

Do you have many plug sockets for charging up a laptop?
Yes, we have a number of plug sockets available, though they can get busy during peak times.
How far is the walk to Piccadilly train station?
It’s around 10-15 minutes.

Do you have WIFI?
Yes, we provide free WIFI for our customers.

What are your store opening times?
Our opening hours are: 7.30am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm on Saturday 10am – 5pm on Sunday.
Do you offer takeaway coffee and food?
Yes, all of our coffee and food can be ordered to take away.
Can I book a table in advance?
Whilst we mostly run on a walk-in basis, we are happy to reserve group table bookings. Please get in touch or just pop-in to see us.
Do you cater for dietary requirements such as vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free?
Yes, we offer a good selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Do you offer alternative milks such as oat, almond, or soy?
Yes, we stock a range of alternative milks including oat, almond and soy.
Is outdoor seating available?
We’ve got an atrium with a glass roof so you can get some sun and/or avoid the rain. Obviously if you want to smoke you can go outside the front entrance.
Do you host events, workshops, or coffee tastings?
Yes, we regularly hosts various coffee-focused events like public cuppings, latte art workshops and home brewing workshops, and we also have a presence at the Manchester Coffee Festival.
Can I hire the space for private events or meetings?
Yes, our café space can be hired for private events. Please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.
Can I buy gift vouchers?
Yes, gift vouchers are available online and in-store.
Do you sell coffee brewing equipment or merchandise?
Yes, click here for all the brewing gear we’re currently stocking, including micro-filters for the AeroPress and Hario V60.
Do you offer loyalty cards or a rewards scheme?
Yes, we offer Squid loyalty card scheme in-store or you could subscribe to our monthly coffee dispatches!

There is street parking and several paid car parks within a short walk of the café.
