Finca Pacpa is located in the town of Roblepampa, Lonya Grande District, Utcubamba Province, north Peru. 4th generation coffee producer Manuel Marlo Baca runs the farm, having had it passed down from his great-grandparents. For 8 years Manuel has been managing and improving the family farm, implementing the production expertise he’s gained through many training courses and qualifications.

Pacamara is a hybrid of Pacas and Maragogipe varieties, and is grown primarily in El Salvador. The beans are particularly large, and have superb potential cup quality. The coffee has been processed using an innovative method. It is first fermented in the cherry for 18 hours, before being fermented once again after pulping for a further 18 hours. Despite this, the resulting coffee is still very well balanced and nuanced, owing to the controlled cultivation and processing techniques Manuel has employed.
