Henry Gomez has worked closely with the producers of this coffee to offer a balanced insight into the very best the region has to offer. The producer is called Asocafe Tatamá; a young generation of 180 quality-driven farmers in Risalda, Santuario who are part of the Asocafe Tatamá association. The farms are located next to the eastern side of the Tatamá National Park. They are renowned for the sweet, floral, and fruity notes in the coffee that they produce.
This coffee has undergone a washed process. This means that the outer skin and mucilage have been removed through water before being dried out. During this process, the farm in Santuario have pledged to use organic fertilizers and chemical free pest control. Asocafe Tatamá are very conscious about the planet and the enviroment.
