We change-up the specific coffee we use for our Warehouse City several times a year depending on the harvest. We always use a single-origin Brazil, as we believe it provides reliable consistency all year round, with a comfortable and familiar cup profile.
This particular lot is from producer Lucas Johannes at Mandaguari Farm in Brazil. It is a Mundo Novo cultivar which has undergone natural processing.
We roast this coffee on a slightly longer, more developed profile compared to our other beans to try and highlight the chocolate and nutty sweetness. The acidity is muted with subtle stone-fruit notes. The flavour is bold enough to cut through milk – perfect for a flat white.
This specific lot has bold dark chocolate notes with toasted nut sweetness, and a hint of dried stone-fruit. The texture is rich and full-bodied.
